Writing to Heal
Write to Heal came to Kate Stivers as an idea after several traumatic and life-changing experiences. Now it’s a healing circle for many.
Kate Stivers is a counselor in private practice on Whidbey Island in Washington State. Kate hosts a bi-weekly Write to Heal circle and monthly Loss and Grief circle at Healing Circles Langley. The intention of all of her work is to call forth the wisdom that allows each individual to feel replenished and empowered.

Healing Circles Global is proud to be a program of Commonweal, a four-star Charity Navigator nonprofit, working in three core fields—health and healing, art and education, and environment and justice.
Healing Circles are a peer-led practice rooted in deep listening, compassion, and shared humanity. While they can be deeply supportive, they are not a substitute for clinical, medical, or therapeutic care.
