Life doesn’t make any sense without interdependence. We need each other, and the sooner we learn that, the better for us all.
These are challenging and uncertain times. Each day we watch news of the pandemic, injustices, and a planet in peril. In response, our emotions may vacillate between anxiety and resilience, despair and hope, grief and love. Just when we need it the most, our normal means of contact, connection, and support have been strained if not uprooted.
Our Coming Together circles support all of us and facilitate meaningful connections across the globe. Volunteer hosts also enjoy creating circles that support those dealing with specific issues such as gender, age, race, geography, language, and arts-based healing.
Circles are free, but donations are gratefully accepted.

For many women, our lives were challenging enough, and now we’re affected by unprecedented events that have turned our lives upside down and inside out.
Each day, we watch news of the pandemic, injustices, and a planet in peril. In response, our emotions may vacillate between anxiety and resilience, despair and hope, grief, and love. Just when we need it the most, our normal means of contact, connection, and support have been strained if not uprooted.
Our women’s healing circle offers a safe, supportive space to walk with each other through these times. Each circle is a blend of sharing and silence, compassion, and curiosity. It’s a space where we connect with other women who are experiencing similar challenges, feelings and emotions. Where we can speak truth from our heart without judgment. Our agreements ensure acceptance and confidentiality. We honor our own unique paths to healing and respect the choices of others.
Summer break status: Last pre-break circle is 7/30. Resumes on 9/3.
Race, identity, and culture
This circle will be a safe space for women to come together to talk about what matters to us. All too often, we internalize the stressors of oppression, racism, sexism, and inequality and turn them against ourselves. This takes a big toll on us.
It’s time for us to stand up for change, use our voices, and be H.E.A.R.D. (Heal, Empower, Accept, Reset, and Discover).
Women healing from injustice
Summer break status: On break until 9/5.
LGBTQ+ healing circles center around voices and experiences of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, plus communities. We also welcome the support and participation of allies. We affirm each person’s ability to judge whether it feels authentic to be in this circle, regardless of gender, identities, or sexual orientation.

Every year in May, we celebrate Asian and Pacific Islanders’ (API) heritage in the U.S. While this celebration reminds people of our rich cultural heritage and our contribution to building this great country, the increasing report of crimes against the Asian and Pacific Islander community also reminds us that, regardless of how many generations we have been in this country, we are still seen as foreigners and strangers. Now, more than ever, it’s important for us as a community to remember how our ancestors have sacrificed and paved the way for us. For centuries, API’s lives in the U.S. often have been bittersweet, full of trauma and triumph. Violence and discrimination might have broken us like the lotus with torn pedals. But our ancestors have planted in us the deep roots. Again and again, together, we will rise out of the mud with dignity and grace.

For far too long, many of us have been oblivious to our own unwitting participation in systemic racism, sometimes ignorant of our history and our privilege, and often blind to our subtle acts of exclusion.
It’s time for white folks to step up – to stop relying on people of color to teach us about racism. It is our work to do. As Kamala Harris said: “There is no vaccine for racism, we have to do the work.”
Come join us for inner healing work to unpack our collective grief, with small steps toward reparation in healing inequity and injustice.
Please commit to all four sessions.
Learning Circle: Owning Our Whiteness

“Everything we love is destined to change, age, and pass away. But it is equally true that every moment brings with it new possibilities....aging is beyond our control, but how we age is up to us.” Lewis Richmond, Aging as a Spiritual Practice
In this circle, we will explore and discover what these words mean for each of us as we use poetry, writing prompts, and discussion to enrich our exploration. This circle will be about honoring the art of one’s exploration in this sacred journey and not about the craft or critique of writing.Join Wait List
Writing from the heart
Summer break status: Begins September 16 (after summer break).
This writing circle is inspired by our internal creative spaces and by listening deeply to self. We welcome all experiences and levels of creativity. There are no prerequisites. This is not a learning-how-to-write or critique circle. Instead, it's a healing circle in which we embrace the agreements of deep listening, compassion, respect, and safety. It's a place where we show up with a willingness to care and share, and where we allow our experiences to unfold through the support of a listening community. We write our hearts’ wisdom found in the silence of listening to our own inner voice and witness. We do not presume to fix or change one another's writing. Sharing is welcome, but there is no requirement to do so.Register
This is a circle for people living with autoimmunity and their loved ones. Autoimmunity is a paradoxical reaction of the body defending against itself. It comprises a broad category of illnesses, many of which have vague trajectories and symptoms that often elude diagnosis and treatment.
How do we evolve a relationship with autoimmunity? How do we endure suffering, the loss and pain, and grief for who we used to be? Where do we find meaning? How do we acknowledge and evoke our capacities for healing?

We are experiencing difficult and uncertain times. In just over a year, our lives in Europe (and everywhere) have dramatically changed. Sometimes, we feel powerless, overwhelmed, angry, sad, unsettled … And just when we need it most, our normal means of contact, connection, and support have been strained if not uprooted.
This circle is offered to people living in Europe. We will be communicating in English.
Summer break status: Last pre-break circle is 7/27. Resumes on 9/7.
