Online circles

The advantage of online healing circles is that you can participate in them regardless of where you are in the world. All you need is an internet connection. There’s no need to drive or take public transit, no need to go out in the dark, rain, or snow. And if you’re recovering from an illness—or want to minimize the chances of catching one—you can gain all the benefits of social connection from home.

Another advantage of online circles is that you meet people who you wouldn’t have otherwise crossed paths with. When you do, you realize how very much we have in common with one another. Regardless of where we are in the world, it turns out that we have far more similarities than differences.

Where are you?

In-person circles

The main advantage of in-person healing circles is the hugs! Physical circles enable us to gather in the same way that our ancestors have for millennia. We can sit around an actual fire (or a center that represents one), pass a talking piece, and look one another in the eyes.

Please note

Healing circles are groups of peers who support one another through deep listening and compassion. Circle participants abide by agreements, including agreements around confidentiality. The volunteers who host healing circles do not provide medical or psychotherapeutic advice or treatment. Participation in a healing circle does not replace the care provided by a qualified healthcare professional.
