Every healing circle begins with an idea that brings a need and an audience together. Over time, circles have become more refined. For example, we offered healing circles for people living with cancer, but did not have one for caregivers. So people who have provided care for loved ones founded a circle that meets those specific needs. We offered a women’s circle, but someone founded a circle specifically for women healing from injustice. And so, circles evolve and grow.

Reflections from our community

Please note

Healing circles are groups of peers who support one another through deep listening and compassion. Circle participants abide by agreements, including agreements around confidentiality. The volunteers who host healing circles do not provide medical or psychotherapeutic advice or treatment. Participation in a healing circle does not replace the care provided by a qualified healthcare professional.
